Background
Kowloon Dairy aimed to revamp their ecommerce site and backend systems, focusing on a new milk subscription strategy. Their goal was to create a more streamlined, user-friendly experience for customers and enhance their internal management system.
Solution
We comprehensively reviewed their subscription and delivery logistics. Understanding the information allowed us to resolve the UX problem in the subscription flow and implement a new method for address selection. This improvement made it easier for staff to add new residences.
We also enhanced the subscription feature by integrating a change order trigger in Magento, which simplified the management of subscription orders. Additionally, we completely redeveloped the iOS App to ensure a seamless and efficient user interface for mobile users.
Implementation and development highlights
We've put together a highly adaptable subscription process tailored to Kowloon Dairy's existing delivery routes. The site now offers various choices for milk subscribers, like selecting their first delivery, setting delivery frequency, and choosing the subscription period. The available weekdays are dynamic and based on the customer's district, ensuring they line up with their established milk delivery routes.
The address selection is implemented by Hong Kong Land Department which keeps its address option up-to-date and won’t leave out new residential.
Kowloon Dairy is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) constructed with PWA Studio. This versatile app ensures a consistent user experience on both desktop and mobile platforms. It enhances user engagement through in-app purchasing capabilities and speedy response times, leading to a better conversion rate compared to traditionally built mobile sites.
